Forest linked with Chris Porter

If reports are to be believed north of the border Motherwell's Chris Porter has signed a pre-agreement to join Forest in the summer. Porter is out of contract in the summer, but it is also thought that Forest could bring him to the City Ground earlier if they stump up a small fee.

Porter has only been at Motherwell for a season where he netted 18 goals last season helping the Scots to qualify for Europe.

He has netted only 4 times this campaign but Calderwood is believed to be an admirer of the player who has recently turned 25. Forest will be keen to get him in the January transfer window to boost their bid to fight off relegation.
