Manchester City Tracking West Ham United's Matthew Upson

Yet another defender has come under Manchester City's radar, with Matthew Upson now being linked with a move to Eastlands.

It was recently reported that the Citizens were plotting an ambitious bid to bring John Terry, Joleon Lescott and Kolo Toure to the club.

However, according to The Mirror, a fourth defender in Upson is also in their sights. Mark Hughes is reportedly ready to offer £15 million for the England international, who has two years left on his contract at West Ham United.

Tottenham Hotspur have also expressed an interest in Upson recently, after learning that three of their central defenders will miss the start of the season through injury.
