Official: Bolton Wanderers Complete Signing Of Lee Chung-Yong

South Korea international Lee Chung-Yong has completed a move to the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers, becoming the fifth signing of the summer at the Reebok Stadium.

Manager Gary Megson told Bolton's official website, "Lee is another good addition to our squad. He has got pace and ability. It is great that we have finally been able to get him.

"It is going to be a big challenge for him because he is coming to a new country and a new culture, where he will be facing the demands of the Premier League.

"It will take time for him to settle, but we will be making sure that he is fully supported as he makes that transition."

The 21-year-old winger has impressed on the international scene, becoming a first choice for his nation’s Under-23 team in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Fans gave him the nickname 'Blue Dragon' after a number of impressive performances, and he has since gone on to make 16 appearances for his senior national side, scoring two goals.
