Philippe Senderos Admits He May Have To Leave Arsenal

Arsenal centre-back Philippe Senderos has acknowledged his desire to play regular football may see him leave the Emirates in January.

The Swiss international spent last season on loan at AC Milan and is yet to appear in the Premier League for the Gunners this season.

The summer arrival of Thomas Vermaelen has seen him slip even further down the pecking order in north London and the stopper admits a move may be his best option.

"I need to seek a solution as I'm not playing for Arsenal," conceded Senderos in The Sunday Mirror.

"A change of clubs in the winter is an option - I am keeping all doors open.

"This is a difficult time. It is like a test that I have to come through, but I believe in God and have to stay strong."

Everton were in talks with Senderos over the summer and manager David Moyes may yet renew that interest in January.
